About DetailFlash

I’m Artem, and I build DetailFlash. It’s the phone app that handles the before-and-after side of detailing jobs: the 90-second walkaround at drop-off, the signed condition baseline, and the branded report the customer sees at the end. Built around the vehicle, not the invoice. Under 3 minutes per car.

This blog is where I share what the detailing community is telling me. I spend months reading every public word I can find from working detailers: forum threads on AutoGeekOnline, posts in r/AutoDetailing, Facebook comments from full-time operators, and 5,855 Google reviews of 1,166 small shops across 64 US metros. Thousands of public conversations, organized and searchable.

When I write about the two types of customers who destroy a detailing business, or why quotes die on the phone, or what a signed baseline protects you from, I’m putting numbers and names on what detailers already know.
